I know it has a fan base here, but it always seemed like that show was blown up to be way bigger than it was by people overseas. The Top Gear guys, for instance, always obsessed over it like it was one of the top 20 American TV shows of all time, or something. It cracked the top 10 in ratings for 3 out of 7  seasons and was reasonably popular in its era, but most Americans don’t really think about it that much now.

The only thing I liked about the Dukes of Hazzard was Boss Hogg and his caddy. I could honestly not care less about the flag business either way.

They did destroy a big bunch of them but at he same time they did likely generate a lot of Charger fans. So perhaps a larger amo unt of Chargers have been reviv ed due these fans? I still wish that t he y would have used something else...

But apparently Charger destruction pleases audiences. We have seen a lot o f ‘68-’70 Charger destruction in many other TV shows and movies too. All of these got mangled (or totally destr oyed).

I couldn’t find more destr uctive action shots for the last two but their fate was still pretty bad. The Chargers in the third last and the fourth last picture did only receive minor dents and they survived.
